With a line-up of accomplished speakers bringing their knowledge and insights together, Nonkosi Creatives is launching in July with an event hosted by comedian, actor and businessman Mpho Popps Modikoane.

Nonkosi Creatives is a proudly women-led business, founded by Nqobile Pamela Xaba, who has over two decades of experience in the Human Resources field, with a passion for promoting diversity and inclusive workplaces.

The organisation provides young professionals and creatives the opportunity to pursue their passions and build careers. Specialising in training and speaking engagements, Nonkosi Creatives has organised the “Rising Beyond: Navigating Legacy, Diversity and Entrepreneurship” hybrid event, which will be held at Focus Rooms in Johannesburg on the 27th of July from 15:30 to 21:00.

Featuring keynote addresses from the inspirational Dr Frank Magwegwe - financial planning researcher, life planner, educator, academic, and professional speaker - and Primedia Group Chief Revenue Officer, Lindile Xoko - the event focuses on rising above challenges to create a brighter future for young professionals in South Africa. 

Global Business Solutions’ Joint CEO, Thembi Chagonda, will be interviewed by Mpho Modikoane about “Demystifying the Employment Equity Amendment Bill and the Way Forward”.

On the agenda is a panel discussion, which will see award-winning HR professional Cebile Xulu on stage with Project Sales Specialist Gill Jones, inclusion activist and people advocate Malisha Awunor, along with Pedersen & Partners Country Manager, Modise Makhene. The topic will be “The Legacy of Youth Day in South Africa: Charting the Future in the Human Capital Space to Promote Inclusive Workplaces”.
