It’s time for good news! Standard Bank Top Women Leaders 16th Edition out now

No quod sanctus instructior ius, et intellegam interesset duo. Vix cu nibh gubergren dissentias. His velit veniam habemus ne. No doctus neglegentur vituperatoribus est, qui ad ipsum oratio. Ei duo dicant facilisi, qui at harum democritum consetetur.

What is the equivalent of “hot off the press” for a digimag? Topco Media is proud to announce it has just released the 16th edition of its flagship B2B gender empowerment publication – Standard Bank Top Women Leaders.

Topco Media, like many other businesses, pivoted completely towards digital during 2020. Times of change bring with them stress and opportunity – and the COVID pandemic is a towering example of both.  For our company, it meant pivoting 3600 to on-line events and digi-first publications. This agility resulted in the virtual Standard Bank Top Women Awards and Conference being a resounding success – not least because the limitation of geographical boundaries had been lifted and we were able to reach a global audience in real-time.

Over the years, Standard Bank has partnered with Topco in the celebration of South Africa’s journey of diversity and inclusion. – a true reflection of their commitment. To quote CEO, Sim Tshabalala: “Working towards gender equality is, of course, a moral obligation, and it’s also the right thing to do, but it also makes economic sense. By denying a group that accounts for more than half of Africa, and indeed half of the world’s population, their full rights and opportunities, we are simply holding back growth and human development.”

It has been a long journey – there is still a long way to go – and to keep our energy sustained for the long haul, we need to celebrate successes and milestones. What better way to pay homage to our gender icons, than to feature them on the cover of our first digi mag – 16 of the iconic individuals who have led the way in gender empowerment, celebrating gender transformation in South Africa.

Our Standard Bank Top Women Leaders icons include:
