During the Africa Tech Week Virtual Summit 2020, Founder and Managing Director of Digemy, Kobus Louw, presented a Tech Talk on how adaptive learning increases organisational efficiency. Kobus is known as an industry expert in tech who is a passionate advocate for partaking in the knowledge revolution. This is why his invaluable contribution to the coveted tech event of the year was highly appreciated by event-goers.
At the event, Kobus illustrated an interesting introductory thought: “Imagine a world where you could, just from your dashboard, see the actual real-time knowledge of organisational personnel; this is how you’d optimise organisational efficiency”. For Kobus, training and upskilling your team members is an imperative investment when it comes to developing and growing your business. He also highlighted vital attributes for any team’s success, that is ‘retaining’ and ‘recalling’ Information. “Without repetition, your team members will not retain knowledge and skills – this will be problematic for organisation”, Kobus warned.
As a whole, Kobus’s discussion was quite thought-provoking, pushing one to comprehend the real importance of constant learning and re-learning. In essence, knowledge is the fuel that ignites and maintains a business’s fire.
