No quod sanctus instructior ius, et intellegam interesset duo. Vix cu nibh gubergren dissentias. His velit veniam habemus ne. No doctus neglegentur vituperatoribus est, qui ad ipsum oratio. Ei duo dicant facilisi, qui at harum democritum consetetur.

“Today I am proud to be feeding 80 families”.

Co-founder of A&C Maintenance and Construction, Colin Herold’s role model was his father who worked for Spoornet and who always wanted to start his own business. To help make ends meet in 1975, at the age of 14, Colin went to work at a refrigeration company. Starting as tea-maker and cleaner, he worked his way up and learned how to repair and maintain fridges. In his early twenties, he decided it was time to realise his father’s dream and in 1999 the dream came true.

They started with 5 employees and were given the opportunity by Protea Hotel & Victoria Junction Hotel to open a maintenance department within the Hotel. From there they grew to 7 hotels and today have 80 employees.  A&C Maintenance and Construction never had financial backing, but did receive invaluable support from businesses in their line of work, and as Colin says:

“Today I am proud to be feeding 80 families”.
